The B-Toolkit is commercially available in 4 forms:

• Fully Commercial Licenses

• Research Licenses

• Academic Teaching Licenses

• Trial Licences

Prices for full licenses range from £ 3000 to £ 25000 pounds.

Permanent academic research licenses are 25% of the commercial rates.

The Academic Teaching Licenses are annual licenses, and are priced on
a sliding scale according to the number of seats required. The minimum
annual fee is £ 1000 for 20 seats.

The current version to order for the B-Toolkit is Version 4.58.

The B-Toolkit is delivered for

• IBM/RS6000 running AIX

• Sun Sparc running Solaris 2.x

• PC's (x86) running Linux

• PC's (x86) running Solaris

Other Unix platforms may be provided by arrangement - e.g previous
installations have included :

• Sun Sparc running SunOS 4.1.x

• DEC-Alpha running OSF1

• Silicon Graphics Indy

The Toolkit requires 32Mbytes of RAM and approximately 40Mbytes HD.

The B-Toolkit is portable, and will run under most Unix systems
implementations, and special needs can be accommodated . The current
B-Toolkit requires as a minimum a Unix Operating System with X11
libraries. For full functionality it further requires LaTeX, a
C-Compiler and the Motif Libraries.
