Founded in 1993, B-Core (UK) are the owners and developers of
the B-Toolkit, its specification, its design and its notations, the
toolkit providing complete support for the B-Method of software
construction.

The development of B was funded by BP International during the
period 1985-1992, and the complete B technology was purchased by
B-Core (UK) Ltd. from BP, all rights being transferred in July 1993.

B-Core is a small company situated in Harwell, near Oxford, and is
pursuing the further development of the B-Toolkit, as well as
conducting research into the extensions of the B technology in
collaboration with industrial clients and academic institutions.

B-Core offers a wide range of services to its customers, including
training and the management of technology transfer.
